Hockey
Both boy's and girl's play hockey at The Grove. It is taught in physical education lessons and is available as an extra mural sport. Teams ranging from U9 to U13 are entered into local leagues and play in at least one festival. All our home games are played at the Norwich Oval opposite the Vineyard hotel.
- U12/13 boy's matches are on a Wednesday.
- U9/10/11 boy's matches are played on a Thursday.
- All girl's matches are played on a Thursday.
U13 Top Schools Hockey Tournament
Our U13 boy's side was invited to play at this tournament for the second year. Our boy's represented The Grove well playing some good hockey. They managed a draw against Eversdal and were unlucky to lose narrowly in three other fixtures. This is a prestigious event and our boy's have done very well to be invited.
U12 Boy's Invitational Tournament
This was the U12 first opportunity to play full field and on astroturf at Hartleyvale stadium. They play exceptionally well winning two games, drawing two and losing one. For some players this was their first taste of hockey. Hopefully, they will have enjoyed themselves and want to play next season.
Saturday 11th September, the girl's U12 team will play.
