Application Process
Admissions process for 2023:
Online applications via the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) open on 13 March and close on 14 April 2023. The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) requires parents to apply for Grades R – 7 online. You apply by using this link: https://wcedonline.
Please note: A full-term notice must be given should your child leave The Grove Primary School.
GRADE R:
PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION ON THE WCED WEBSITE FIRST. ONCE DONE, DROP OFF YOUR COMPLETED SCHOOL APPLICATION FORMS TOGETHER WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AT THE SCHOOL.
APPLICATION FORMS MAY BE COLLECTED FROM THE SCHOOL SECURITY AT THE GROVE AVENUE ENTRANCE.
GRADE 1-7:
NO HARDCOPY APPLICATION FORMS ARE REQUIRED TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE SCHOOL, AS PER THE WCED.
The application process does not work on a first-come, first-served basis.
